Your regular TS message will resume on Monday, May 22nd
Thank you for understanding as I “take a break” for a ministry conference this week.
In Monday’s update, I said:
“In the spirit of transparency, though standing spiritually strong, we are experiencing extraordinary challenges and significant pressures. I am deeply emotionally weary and in need of a “refreshing”. My hope for the conference is an emotional and spiritual refreshing and renewal as well as insights for the challenges we face and the future path of this ministry–part of which you will learn about in a few minutes.“
Thank you for your continued prayers.
If you missed the update, read it HERE. It is about a 7-10 minute read. I will produce it in video next week.
From Sept. 11, 2018:
Have you noticed that the Scriptures say a lot about what we
speak? Have you ever wondered why?
I believe this is because we express authority by what we say.
Though you think all day long, “Please bring me a drink of
water.”, no one will know. However, when you SAY, “Please
bring me a drink of water.”, someone can act on your behalf.
When God created the Universe, He did not think, “Let there be
light.”. He SAID, “Let there be light.” He expressed His
authority by His words. Creation obeyed.
Our words carry great authority on this planet because, as we
learn in Genesis, God gave it to us. Use that God-given
Watch your words. Say what you mean. Mean what you say. Speak
what is right and true. If it is not true, do not say it.
As today’s passage says, “…keep your tongue from evil and
your lips from speaking lies.”
Today’s Seed™ Scripture and Prayer for May 19, 2023:
Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many
good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips
from speaking lies. Turn from evil and do good; seek
peace and pursue it. (Psa 34:12-14 NIV)
Prayer: LORD, I desire a good, long life. Therefore,
I determine to speak words of encouragement and life
and not of evil. I also set my mind to turn from
behavior that would be evil in nature. Help me guard
my mouth and mind and follow the path of peace, life,
and truth which You have shown us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
